ADAS developer MINIEYE joins hands with Horizon Robotics for intelligent driving solution – Gasgoo Auto News

Beijing (Gasgoo)- China’s ADAS technology developer, MINIEYE, has signed a strategic cooperation agreement with China’s AI chip supplier, Horizon Robotics, to develop mass-producible intelligent driving solutions.

Per the agreement, the two parties will fully play each other’s advantages in intelligent driving and AI chip technologies, carrying out R&D and product development for autonomous driving, smart cockpit, and HMI functions.

With their shared vision in mind, Horizon Robotics will utilize its experience in real-life applications, providing its Journey series auto-grade high computing power chips, relevant development tools, and technical support to the partnership.

On the other hand, with its strength in the autonomous driving, intelligent cockpit, and AI algorithms fields, along with its mass-delivery experience, MINIEYE aims to offer a mature universal intelligent vehicle perception solution.

According to the founder and CEO of MINIEYE, Liu Guoqing, China’s domestic players are gaining more and more market share in local intelligent driving market. As a leader in China’s auto-grade chips, Horizon Robotics will offer complementary advantages to MINIEYE. The two companies will explore technical innovation and breakthroughs, helping to accelerate the localization of the intelligent driving industry.
